About these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Kiwis Can, a project based in New Zealand, about your use of this website and the launch list. They are a pre-launch version and will be replaced by full app terms before the app launches. By using the site or joining the list, you agree to them as they stand.
Joining the launch list
When you enter your email, you're asking us to let you know when Kiwis Can is ready, and you agree that we can email you about it. We'll only use it for launch and product updates, not for unrelated marketing. When we email you about the launch, the message will say who it is from and include a link to unsubscribe with one click. You can also ask to be removed at any time by emailing hello@kiwis-can.com.
Launch-list perks, like your free first month of premium access, will be confirmed in the launch email, including how and when to claim them.
We're building toward launch but can't promise an exact date, or that every feature described on this site will ship exactly as shown. The site reflects our current plans, which may change.
Using this website
Please use the site normally and in good faith. Don't try to break it, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it to harm others. The Kiwis Can name, logo, copy, and design are ours; please don't copy or reuse them without permission.
No service or advice yet
The Kiwis Can app is not yet available, and this website does not provide any financial service. Kiwis Can gives you general financial information and education based on your own spending. It does not give you personal financial advice, and it does not recommend any particular product, fund, or course of action for you. Nothing on this site, including the examples and the launch-list education content, is regulated financial advice. If you want advice tailored to your situation, talk to a licensed financial adviser. When the app launches it will have its own terms that govern how you use it.
Disclaimers and liability
This website is provided on an "as is" basis while we build toward launch. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, where they apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product develops, and we'll change the date at the top when we do. Full terms will be published with the app before it launches.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
